The Notes section at the end was specially enjoyable for me, to compare my personal impression of the drawings/comics/zines with the actual background stories that inspired their creation. But they clearly represented more vivid images, deeper experiences and memories that Simon Moreton associated with the materialistic every-day sights of his days. I picked up this book, with absolutely no idea who Simon Moreton is, or what his work had to offer, and in the very short time it took me to read this, I learned more about this stranger than I would if I had watched a 3 hour long documentary on his life or read a 300 page biography on him. ![]()
